As backpacking season is upon us, the gentle whirrr of our food dehydrator can be heard almost around the clock (ok, probably not, but lately it’s going at least 6 hours most days).
Right now it’s full of fresh peaches and chopped frozen spinach.
So far this season I’ve also done a whole pile of apples, some bananas, some strawberries, and some mixed beans. In the very near future I’m going to start in on canned meats, and probably some rice.
