Dehydrating Raspberries, Blueberries, And Mixed Berries

Forgive the crappy phone-photos, but I was so excited to get all of these beautiful berries into the dehydrator, I didn’t take time to find my camera.

We got a great deal on bags of frozen berries at the grocery store, so I loaded up, thawed them out, and filled up the dehydrator trays!

I am currently drying mixed berries, blueberries, and raspberries. I really love berries for breakfast foods. These will be awesome in oatmeal, or my favorite: mixed with granola and then skim milk powder. On the trail you pour in some hot water, and YUM! Hot granola, berries, and a little milk, you really can’t beat it for ease and flavor.

I dehydrated these at 125° until they were no longer juicy inside.
